Jin Mori All Martial Arts Abilities, Powers & Facts Explained The God Of High School

Jin Mori has way too many techniques and abilities that he uses and learns throughout the series but we will try to focus on the ones that he uses in the initial seasons of the god of high school, in the webtoons of course.

Let’s start with his martial arts, he uses Renewal Taekwondo that was taught to him by his grandfather.

Renewal Taekwondo has various techniques. Let’s start digging them.

The first technique i want to talk about is “bow boop”. The name of this technique might change in the anime depending on the translation.

So what does “bow boop” do? It is like a teleportation movement technique where the user can appear behind his enemy or above or anywhere near them.

Next technique is named as “hoegrab.”

This technique is used to break the enemy’s guard. The user grabs the opponent in the lock position.

The user first gives a reverse kick to the enemy and then locks their arm with their leg.

The next technique is named “Spinning Top Kick.”

As the name suggests here, Jin Mori gives a kick to his opponent while doing a 360 more like a 360 no scope in chord.

Next up is “Hoechook”  So the technique is called as “Hoechook”.

In this technique, Jin Mori starts to spin rapidly on a central point to gather force and kick his opponents.

The next one is the “Third Stance Hoekick”.

It is a variation of the previous technique, it is simply the Hoechook but here Jin Mori does a 3 step kick on his opponent.

Next variation of Hoechook is called the “Dragon Sign Hoechook”.

Here, by spinning, Jin Mori creates a whirlwind around his leg by the flow of the air which is strong enough to render his normal or above average opponents unconscious when he kicks them with this technique.

So this technique is actually very strong, he can literally render his enemies unconscious by just using a single kick.

This anime or this series actually has the power screen to the level of Dragon Ball Z. I mean the power levels just keep on increasing gradually as the story progresses.

I have also seen many people comparing it with Dragon Ball Z. They called The God of High School

“The Dragon Ball Z of manhwa / Korea.”

Let’s get back to the topic.

Jin Mori uses the lowest round kick technique when he dodges his opponent’s attack.

Usually he uses this technique while dodging his opponent’s attack on his upper body which is generally above the belt area.

He dodges his opponents by ducking and then gives them a sweet low roundhouse kick by doing a 180.

He usually aims for the enemy’s feet to make them fall a low kick which is actually aimed at the knee rather than the feet is called as “The Ground Drawer”.

It is just a variation of the previous technique.

Next technique is called as “scissors”. Here it sounds interesting, right?

It is a kick which is performed in a diagonal motion at the neck of the opponent forming a scissor shape.

Next up is “axe”.

I like the names of the techniques, so the next technique is called as axe, this technique is used when Jin Mori jumps into the air and spins with his leg stretched out parallel to the ground, the force of this movement is enough to split the ground into two parts it is insane.

I mean his leg is just horizontal to the ground and while he’s falling down that force is enough to split the entire stadium.

Insane man!

Now the next technique is called “Baekdu”. I’m really struggling to pronounce all the names. So it is called “Baekdu”. Baekdu is the knee attack that can send his enemies flying.

Next up is “Baek-Rok”. Baek-Rok is like an uppercut, but it is usually an upward kick aimed at the chin.

So it’s like a variation of uppercut with the kick as we all know that Jin Mori loves to kick his enemies when he determines that his enemies are actually worthy to fight with him.

So next is Jin Mori’s Original “Blue Dragon Kick”. It is this mad lad that is Jin Mori’s original technique which he created in his fight against none other than Han DaeWi.

So, well, that’s pretty much it.

That’s all the martial art techniques or skills or abilities that Jin Mori uses in the initial season of God of High School.
